In 1998 after High School I studied Sports & Health Club Management and Public Relations at Varsity College and continued to play my favourite sport at the University of Cape Town where I played alongside players like Gcobani Bobo, The Siwundla Brothers, Brent Russel to name a few. It was during my time at UCT that I truly believed that I could go further in this sport but injury struck and my career got cut short. I went through surgery and rehab found myself coaching in the Netherlands in early January 2002. I came back after a 3 month coaching and playing stint and after a couple of games I decided to hang up my boots and concentrated on coaching. I coached and managed various sides from 2002 till 2009 at UCT.
I stayed with UCT Rugby Club coaching and managing various teams from the under 19A’s till the Ish Dramat XV (3rd team). 2012 to 2013 I was involved with the juniors at Wanderers Rugby Club in Johannesburg during my time working there.
